Description

This feather class focuses on teaching the spineless feather quilt path, perfect for faster feathers, particularly with sit down quilting as well as one-pass feather borders on a longarm. Students will learn multiple easy, non backtrack feathers that are very successful for all levels. Confident Beginner friendly.

Student requirements: Sketchbook, pen/pencil. Fabric marking utensil. 2 pc WOF (42”) x 1.5 yards (total 3 yards) of neutral cotton fabric for class sample. Basting safety pins (no spray adhesive permitted in classroom). Arrive to class as early as reasonable to baste quilt sandwich or pre-baste your own quilting sandwich with your own batting. All free motion quilting tools, like free motion gloves or other non-slip tools, such as grip hoops as desired. Scissors/ snips. Trash bag for snips. Additional color of thread, if desired for high visibility.
