In this session, you’ll learn to create practical yet beautiful borders and sashing that will elevate any quilt.
Key topics include:
Demonstration of several border and sashing designs, from simple to more elaborate depending on skill level.
Which designs work best on “troublesome” borders.
Turning corners – when to turn and what to do if you can’t.
By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with the skills, tips, and inspiration to finish your quilts with creative borders and sashing and tackle even the most challenging design elements with ease.
Student requirements:
2 x Pre Basted Quilt Sandwiches approx 40” (WOF) x 20” (Solids work best)
Quilting gloves if desired
Pencil/Pen for notes
Small scissors
Fabric Marking pen/pencil
