Description

Are you intimidated by quilting a large quilt? Join us for a hands-on class featuring Pauline’s Quilting Is Sew Simple (QISS) System! đź’‹ Learn how to quilt without free motion quilting, one block at a time. Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or a complete beginner, this class is designed for you.

In this class, you’ll learn how to quilt simple yet beautiful designs on a domestic sewing machine and join your quilted blocks seamlessly with Pauline’s unique Quilt As You Go (QAYG) techniques. Pauline will guide you step-by-step, building your skills and confidence so you can quilt with ease.

By the end of the class, you’ll have the knowledge and techniques needed to create your own quilt from start to finish and achieve the stunning look of a traditional quilt—your friends won’t believe it’s made with Quilt As You Go techniques!

Please note: Some preparation work is required before class, and while you won’t leave with a finished project, you will create valuable samples to guide your future QAYG quilts.

Join us for a fun, supportive atmosphere where Quilting is Sew Simple with the QISS System!

Student requirements (or option to request as a kit add-on):

2 x 121/2” x 121/2” squares of fabric to be used as the top of the quilted blocks. A white or Cream will be most suitable to show up your amazing Quilting.

2 x 121/2” x 121/2” squares of a print fabric for the back of the blocks. I suggest an overall darker print of a non-directional fabric.

2 x Fat ¼’ that can be used for the sashing’s. These need to contrast to each other 1x medium color 1x darker, one can be a tone on tone and the other a print fabric.

Please also bring to the class extra top fabric and backing fabric, this is needed to join the blocks together, fat ÂĽ size is sufficient.
