Description
Explore a more professional version of edge to edge quilting with integrated nesting and echoing techniques. Confident Beginner friendly. Students will learn numerous professional nested designs and how to personalize them, and progress to making early feathers that bend and curve easily.
Student requirements:
Sketchbook, pen/pencil.
Fabric marking utensil.
2 pc WOF (42”) x 1.5 yards (total 3 yards) of neutral cotton fabric for class sample.
Basting safety pins (no spray adhesive permitted in classroom).
Arrive to class as early as reasonable to baste quilt sandwich or pre-baste your own quilting sandwich with your own batting.
All free motion quilting tools, like free motion gloves or other non-slip tools, such as grip hoops as desired. Scissors/ snips. Trash bag for snips. Additional color of thread, if desired for high visibility.
